Description
Ford early falcon, mustang and cortina conventional 144,200,221 & 250 integrated cylinder head and Ford Australian made twin outlet exhaust manifold.
Made in Australia by Aussiespeed, the cast iron exhaust header suits integrated log head engines as the exhaust ports are different for the 2V heads. But dont worry AS0017-2V is also Available.
The Aussiespeed 1V manifold above with the larger centre port, the height of the 1v manifold is taller on the 1V than the 2V. Both 1V & 2V Aussiespeed cast iron exhaust manifold has both larger ports, larger cross section runners than the stock manifold. It is precisely machined and supplied with steel flanges, flange gaskets, studs and brass nuts .
The dual outlets are 40mm in diameter or just over 1.5 inches in imperial, the manifold is a 3 into one design. Yes we know it is an excellent starting point to build a turbo manifold for your early Ford.
The under side has reliefs to make fitting easier and doing up the bottom bolts. The manifold is taller and longer in the over all design and is perfect for standard and modified street engines.
Finished in high temp cast iron exhaust paint we recommend pre fitting before having a ceramic finish applied. Its not good having to grind the ceramic coating if you have a fitment issue
Both a standard and the Aussiespeed AS0017 were placed on a flat surface for this picture. The AS0017 measured from the head face to the outside manifold flange is 135mm
With the exit position of the AS0017 it allows for exhaust pipes to be ran which ever way you need to to fit just about any engine bay. Early Falcon Ranchero Econoline Mustang and will suit engines from 144 to 250 cubic inches
Customer sent us a picture of the fit up of an AS0017-1V in an early Falcon.
