Holden 6 cylinder chemically bonded standard dimension harmonic balancer suits Holden Blue / Black motors 2850 and 3.3 engines. The balancer is a standard factory balancer that has been rebuilt with the seal area re sleeved the rubber has been removed and the inner hub and outer ring have been chemically bonded with a flexible 2 part rubber compound. The balancers are supplied within the factory natural balance specification. The balancer has a machined step to accept Aussiespeed Holden 6 cylinder supercharger steel crankshaft hubs or 3 bolt supercharger drive pulleys. The chemically bonding process lessens the chance of inner and outer ring separating or the outer ring slipping.
The balancer on the right is a black / blue motor counter weighted crank balancer and has the wider back rib on the v section. The timing positions are also in a different position on the black / blue motor compaired to the non counter weighted red motor 6 cylinder Holden crankshafts.
THIS UNIT HAS A CAST IRON INNER AND OUTER RING AND IS DESIGNED FOR STREET ENGINES. IT WILL NOT MEET CLASSES OF RACING WHERE A SFI APPROVED BALANCER IS REQUIRED.
