Description

Cylinder head bolts fit Ford 3.3 and 4.1 engines as fitted to Ford Cortina TE, TF, Falcon XC, XD, XE, XF with aluminum head. These are a premium grade high tensile bolt and are far cheaper than a head stud kit that still have a limited life span.

WILL NOT FIT CAST IRON HEAD

NOTE WHEN FITTING. Check Bolt Length as we have had 2 customers snap bolts before they are tight due to bolts bottoming out .
“Care needs to be taken when installing head bolts to Ford 6 Cylinder crossflow engines. This is particularly important on the 2 head bolt/stud holes that have dowels. Extremely important in engines that have zero (or close to zero) deck height accompanied with material off the head surface. Bottom taping of the all head holes and thoroughly cleaning out any debris is essential.  it is highly recommended to chamfer the top thread at the deck surface. This stops the thread being ‘pulled up’ when the stud/bolt is torqued and leads to better head gasket sealing”
